When I hear the word holocaust I think about world war 2 between u.s. and germany. The holocaust was when Hitler killed 6 million jews. He killed them by gas and he didn't feed them or anything just left them there to die.

My word was resettlement. Resettlement was when a group of Jewish prisoners were taken to a death camp and died. I found some pictures of some people going on a death march or waiting to go to another death camp. I went to a holocaust glossary and some pictures on line of prisoners. I found quite of few pictures of kids getting ready for a death march or on a death march.

Some of you need to revisit your topic and submit a more informed blog post. The instructions asked you to write several sentences explaining what you learned about your term in relationship to the Holocaust.

My word was Kapo. A Kapo was a person who worked inside German Nazi concentration camps during world war II. I learned that once you were a Kapo, you turned on the people that were your family, friends, or even people that you never even knew. Kapo's took charge of the people in concentration camps and forced them to do things that they shouldn't of had to do. The result of being a Kapo was to be told my the Nazi's that you had a little more time to live then other prisoners.

I choose the word Euthanasia which the meaning is, the mersy killing of handy-caps (brain or body troubles). They took any handy-caps and killed them without as much pain.

The word I had was stereotype. Stereotype is to give a fixed form to something. Jews were depicted as having large noses, curly hair, and being greedy.
